Trina...I can't remember for sure, but, I think if your beta numbers are doubling u should be in pretty good shape...I'm not sure about the progesterone level u have though. Maybe ask the doc if he'll consider letting you get beta levels every so often to make sure you keep doubling ....if so, your body is producing enough good progesterone to maintain your pregnancy. You could supplement w/progesterone cream. You'll find it at any health food store. It's kind of pricey though...it will just add some Xtra progesterone support. Remember, it's more progesterone u want...not estrogen, but your body will make more of that too while pg.

As for eating the estrogen foods, I wouldn't go hog wild with that. I wrote that specifically for women in pre-menopause and menopause, to help increase their decreasing estrogen levels naturally. God bless, keep me posted on how your pg goes....Lyn

Is it recommended/safe to eat these "high estrogen" foods during pregnancy if low estrogen is suspected?

I find myself 6 weeks pregnant at 39 (I will be 40 in two weeks) I am experiencing all the symptoms of low estrogen - vaginal dryness, uterine prolapse etc... but my OB refuses to check my estrogen level. I feel like I am just waiting to miscarry. Is there anything I can do to save this pregnancy? My Hcg levels are doubling and my progesterone is 44.

Interesting article. I have just experienced my 3rd miscarriage, I am 42 with no children. I am looking into alternatives. Can you let me know how much fish oil has been recommended to help improve fertility and prevent miscarriage.

Acupressure is a great inexpensive way to help enhance fertility. You still stimulate the points and save money as well....what a deal! :)
